Buy & Sell Shares
Open a position, reduce it, or exit before resolution
Buying shares opens or increases a position. Selling reduces an existing position and returns the trade proceeds to your available balance after the fill settles.
Before you trade
- Read the market rules and resolution source.
- Check the best bid, best ask, spread, and available size.
- Confirm that your balance covers the order and estimated fee.

You cannot sell more shares than your available position. Shares committed to an open sell order may be unavailable until that order fills or is canceled.
You can sell before resolution or hold a winning position through settlement and claim its payout.
